Eligible entities include community groups, registered not-for-profit organizations, registered charities, and elected Indigenous councils (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit). Organizations must have a bank account in their name and primarily serve Indigenous populations.

Ineligible applicants include individuals, for-profit companies, non-Indigenous-led organizations, government bodies, organizations outside Canada, the Crown, and the United Nations.
