The Chinook Country Historical Society fulfils this function in terms of its commitment to ensure that all people know understand appreciate and enjoy Albertas rich and diverse historical past. More specifically our chapter focuses not only on the city of Calgary but on the entire region extending from the Saskatchewan border to British Columbia and from Nanton to midway between Calgary and Red Deer.
