🌿 Honouring Eleanor 🌿 A year ago, the name behind Eleanor’s Court was announced. Today, as we welcome new residents, we want to share the story behind the mural on the south side of the building—and the heart that lives within it. Mi’kmaw artist Loretta Gould was commissioned to create this work in memory of Eleanor Young, a young woman from Eskasoni First Nation who was part of the Ally Centre community and was expected to be one of the first residents of Eleanor’s Court.
