Fresh Outlook Foundation - Inspiring Conversations for Sustainable Change Mobilizing student and community climate action in Vernon and beyond. Climate Action Ripple Effect CARE is a student learning and community engagement program launched in 2022 in Vernon BC that builds climate awareness and action through innovative local solutions. Student project teams collaborate with mentors from all sectors to create diverse projects in support of municipal climate objectives and United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. In spring 2025 Fresh Outlook Foundation is working with almost 1000 students in School Districts 22 VernonLumby and 23 Central Okanagan to create projects that support local climate solutions for nature and biodiversity agriculture and food energy and buildings waste reduction ecofriendly transportation and human health and culture.
