Established as a registered charity, it operates with the mission of raising public awareness and promoting education about marine ecosystems.

History and Development

  • Wildlife Rescue and Response: Beyond cetaceans, WOWs is involved in rescue and response operations for a variety of marine and terrestrial animals, including birds and domestic species.

  • Promoting Sustainable Practices: The organization advocates for sustainable boating, fishing, and recreational activities to protect marine mammals and their habitats.

Community Engagement

WOWs engages with the community through presentations, workshops, and live streaming channels, providing educational content to the public. The society relies heavily on volunteer efforts, including a dedicated board of directors, to carry out its operations.
