WHAT WE DO Since 1965 the Animal Welfare Foundation of Canada AWFC has been working to advance the wellbeing of animals across Canada.

ANIMAL WELFARE FOUNDATION OF CANADA
The Animal Welfare Foundation of Canada is deeply saddened by the loss of Frances Rodenburg, a former AWFC Director. Fran was an outstanding advocate for animals, having been the Executive Director of the Canadian Federation of Humane Societies, and who served passionately in her other voluntary leadership roles, including the Canadian Veterinary Medical Association Animal Welfare Committee, the Canadian Council on Animal Care, and development committees for codes of practice of care and handling of farm animals. We wish to extend our deepest sympathy to her husband and partner, Bob McLean, her extended family, and to the many colleagues and friends across Canada grieving her loss.
