Pandora Arts Collective Society
The Pandora Arts Collective Society (PACS) is a Canadian nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering mental health and well-being through the social and educational benefits of participatory and creative arts. Established in 2005, the society operates as a welcoming, open community space for individuals aged 14 and up to engage in facilitated art-making experiences as a foundation for mental health support and healing.
Mission and Vision
PACS's primary mission is to unite people around creative arts as a healing process, providing a nurturing environment where participants can develop confidence and improve their mental health through artistic expression. The collective emphasizes inclusivity, community participation, and accessibility, making art a tool for social connection, personal growth, and emotional well-being.
Activities and Programs
The society offers a variety of facilitated art-making sessions and community art projects that encourage participation from all ages. Its programming includes group exhibitions, public art projects, and educational workshops. Notable initiatives feature all-ages public participation art events, such as those held during community art strolls, and collective exhibitions like "Our Journey Continues…," hosted at venues including the Little Fernwood Gallery.
Community Role and Impact
PACS serves as a collective arts space where artists and participants can collaborate and share their work, fostering a sense of belonging and community support. This approach helps those experiencing mental health challenges to access creative outlets in a safe and supportive setting. By integrating art with mental health goals, the society contributes to broader efforts in the arts and health sectors to use creativity as a means of healing and empowerment.

The Pandora Arts Collective Society is a registered Canadian charity (Business Registration Number 819111279RR0001) compliant with the Canada Revenue Agency's regulations.
