GIV3 | Home Working to strengthen the charity sector for Canadians About GIV3 We originally started in 2009 with a focus on grassroot initiatives such as bringing GivingTuesday to Canada and developing The Great Canadian Giving Challenge. Both programs have triggered and continue to encourage tens of millions of additional donation dollars and other acts of generosity in Canada annually. However more recently we have increased our focus on advocacy and systemic policy improvements for the charitable sector and for the millions of Canadians in need who rely on charitable services. We believe that many systemic changes are overdue.
