Massey Area Museum Preserving Local History With Exhibits Genealogy and Stories From Massey and Surrounding Areas MASSEY AREA MUSEUM WAS INCORPORATED IN 1976 Directors We acknowledge and are grateful to the original directors who includeJessie Burnside Paul Bouchard Edith Emiry Peter Bolduc Karl Riegg Byrna Steinke Leo Lachance Doreen Sloss Theresa Rainville Terry Brouse. Objects To promote the study practice and knowledge of any phase of historical and archaeological research within the Massey area including the Town of Massey and the Township of the Spanish River. The first museum was located in the old Royal Bank building at 190 Sauble Street relocated to the old museum building at 160 Sauble Street and finally moved into the current building in 2013. Massey Area Museum is a NonProfit Corporation and is a Registered Charity so tax receipts can be issued for donations.
