Based in Trinity, Newfoundland and Labrador, its mission is to preserve, present, and promote the historical and cultural heritage of Trinity and its surrounding communities.
The society operates several heritage sites, including a museum housed in an 1880s saltbox-style home featuring approximately 2,000 artifacts reflecting commercial, domestic, fishing, sealing, medical, and governmental aspects of regional life. Demonstrations of traditional crafts such as rug hooking are conducted by staff and volunteers. Key affiliated sites include the Church of the Most Holy Trinity (a Roman Catholic church with its original 1880 bell tower), Lester-Garland House, Cooperage, and Green Family Forge.
The society offers a Trinity Experience Pass, which grants access to multiple attractions, including archival collections documenting local history. Funding relies on admissions, donations, and grants, with operations typically running from June to October annually.
