YELLOWSTONE TO YUKON CONSERVATION INITIATIVE FOUNDATION
More people are getting out in nature — and as recreationists, our actions matter. Since 2019, Y2Y has led collaborative recreation ecology research with the University of Northern British Columbia on how recreation affects sensitive wildlife like caribou and wolverine across the Yellowstone to Yukon region. In 2024, we shared science-backed recommendations with hundreds of land managers, government officials, and recreation groups to help shape planning in a way that works for both people and wildlife.
