"He couldn’t stop thinking about the 'what ifs'…" A young man came to us burdened with pain and anger after his girlfriend made the difficult decision to have an abortion. He had tried many times to change her mind, but ultimately, she felt unable to continue the pregnancy at this point in her life. In the weeks that followed his thoughts were consumed with the “what if’s”, thinking that if he had said the right thing or done something differently, it would have led to a different outcome.
