All funding contributes to Maintaining all equipment and ensure it is uptodate supplies communication and vehicles PENSAR is required by Provincial Operating Guidelines to provide continuous training to its members and to keep all certifications of its specialty teams current. Any new equipment or training has to to obtained through donations or grant assistance. PENSAR is constantly evaluating and replacing damaged or worn out equipment.

✨ Task Update - Skaha Bluffs ✨ Yesterday PenSAR responded to a call in the Skaha Bluffs for an injured climber. After speaking with those on scene and assessing the subject’s condition, the rescue was carried out as a helicopter land and load. A huge credit goes to the Thompson Rivers University instructors and students who were with the subject.

✨ Monday Night Training ✨ Last night, PenSAR organized a group hike for our potential recruits and potential Members-in-Training. This evening gave us the chance to see traits like teamwork, preparedness, and problem-solving in action while introducing potential new faces to what SAR is all about. Thanks to everyone who joined us on the trail.
