The United Nations’ 2025 theme is ‘Family-Oriented Policies for Sustainable Development: Towards the Second World Summit for Social Development’ which emphasizes the role of families in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), are an urgent call for action by all countries in a global partnership, which recognize that to end poverty, strategies need to be put in place to improve health and education, reduce inequality, and spur economic growth – all while tackling climate change.
