More recently in 2024 the Foundation engaged the services of awardwinning architectural firm Lemay to create comprehensive plans for the site. These plans will be released by the end of the year subscribe to our newsletter to stay updated. The Irish Monument Park will commemorate the Irish who lost their lives at the fever sheds of PointSaintCharles in Montreal in the aftermath of the Famine.
