La Fondation a pour mission d39encourager les etudiantes et etudiants universitaires du Quebec inscrits dans les programmes de chimie de premier cycle en attribuant des bourses d39excellence. Historique de la Fondation Suite au decs du professeur Piche en 1987 son epouse approcha le professeur JeanClaude Richer son excollgue a lUniversite de Montreal ainsi que les dirigeants de lOrdre des chimistes du Quebec afin de mettre sur pied une fondation a sa memoire. Rappelons que Lucien Piche avait dirige en 195556 lassociation des chimistes professionnels du Quebec une organisation qui deviendra en 1973 lOrdre des chimistes du Quebec.
