However, following the dissolution of the ashram, ISKCON Halifax became dormant and was sustained by a core group of devotees alongside the registered charity foundation[3].

A significant revival began in 2018 under the guidance of Bhaktimarga Swami, Mangalananda Dasa, and Ambarisa Dasa. Their leadership led to the resurgence of the community through active engagement, public festivals, and Sunday programs. This revival culminated in the acquisition of Atlantic Canada’s first ISKCON temple, a 7,700 square foot property situated on nine acres of land, marking a new era of growth and vibrancy for ISKCON Halifax[3].
