Gilmore Park United Church
Gilmore Park United Church is a nonprofit organization and a congregation of the United Church of Canada. It is located in Richmond, British Columbia, and serves as a community hub offering spiritual services and support to individuals.
History
Gilmore Park United Church was founded in 1957 and is named after the early settler families in West Richmond, the Gilmores. The church's first building was completed in 1959, with its first sanctuary established in 1968. A new church building was constructed in 1999, alongside the Gilmore Gardens Retirement Residence, in which the church holds a 50% ownership stake.

The church is committed to creating a welcoming environment where all individuals feel safe and valued. It aims to embody the love of Christ, which fosters a community that embraces diversity, supports justice, and encourages service to others. The mission of Gilmore Park United Church includes growing in the Spirit, practicing hospitality, and serving the world at large.

Gilmore Park United Church adheres to a New Creed, affirming belief in God as creator, who came in Jesus to reconcile and make new, and works in individuals by the Spirit. The congregation trusts in God's presence in life, death, and beyond, and is called to celebrate God's presence, live respectfully in creation, and love and serve others.
