Mission and Community Involvement

The church is committed to serving and praying with its neighbours, while inviting people into a relationship with God's love and joy, as known in Jesus Christ. Its community programs aim to foster meaningful connections and support within the neighbourhood.

Collaboration with Local Organizations

St. Nicholas Church Birch Cliff is one of the founding churches that supported the establishment of the Bluffs Food Bank. This food bank was initiated by five neighbourhood churches that recognized the need to address food insecurity in their community. Along with other churches such as Birchcliff Bluffs United Church, Fallingbrook Heights Baptist Church, Fallingbrook Presbyterian Church, and Scarborough Baptist Church, St. Nicholas provides financial and volunteer support to the Bluffs Food Bank.

Fundraising and Donations

The church utilizes platforms like CanadaHelps for online donations, which charges a processing fee to facilitate secure and efficient fundraising. This allows the church to focus on its mission rather than administrative tasks, ensuring that donations are put to work quickly. Donors also receive instant tax receipts, helping them claim tax credits for their contributions.
