Civic Orchestra of Victoria - Home Page The Civic Orchestra of Victoria THE 20242025 SEASON 41 YEARS OF MAKING MUSIC Inaugurated in 1983 the Civic Orchestra of Victoria is a volunteer organization dedicated to providing an opportunity for musicians of varying ages and abilities to perform a wide repertoire of orchestral music for supportive audiences in the Capital Regional District of Victoria BC Canada. The orchestra usually performs four concerts each year with rehearsals starting in September and ending by late May. March 16 2024 David Stewart conducting Would you like to become involved. Strings positions We are always looking for capable Strings Section musicians.

SEEKING PRINCIPAL VIOLA & PRINCIPAL TROMBONE Also seeking section string players. The Civic Orchestra is seeking viola and trombone players with performance experience and section leadership skills to audition for the principal chairs in these sections. The Orchestra is also seeking section string players - these are non-auditioned positions, but we recommend strong music reading skills and at least 3 years of performance experience.
