THE SOOKE PHILHARMONIC SOCIETY
This community orchestra and chorus, with more than 60 members, was founded by Norman Nelson in 1997 and performed its first symphony concert in June 1998. Founded in 1997 by Norman Nelson, the full size semi-professional orchestra plays 6 programs (12 concerts) annually plus performances at community events.
