We’ve received a $25,000 grant from the New Horizons for Seniors program to help more seniors get into regional parks. This funding expands our Bus Grant Program, covering not just transportation but also activity costs and leaders to create memorable outdoor experiences. Here are just a few fun ways seniors can enjoy our parks: • Guided nature walks & birdwatching • Outdoor painting & photography • Gentle yoga & mindfulness in nature We’re also working with groups to find mobility-friendly parks, ensuring everyone can access and enjoy the beauty of nature.
