Roots of Empathy is a global organization offering empathy-based programs for children, with research to prove impact. It is a leader in the empathy movement. Roots of Empathy was created by Mary Gordon in 1996 in Toronto, Canada. Since then, the evidence-based program for primary school children has grown to 11 countries, reaching more than one million children.
