Gustin/Trounce Heritage Committee Inc.
The Gustin/Trounce Heritage Committee Inc. is a registered Canadian charitable organization (Business No. 892031378RR0001) dedicated to preserving musical heritage and promoting interdisciplinary arts in Saskatchewan. Inspired by Dr. Lyell Gustin (1895–1988), a pioneering piano pedagogue, the organization fosters classical music performance, cultural education, and heritage conservation through annual programming and scholarships.

Founded to honor Lyell Gustin’s pedagogical legacy, the Committee operates from Gustin House, a designated Provincial Heritage Property in Saskatoon. This site, alongside the adjacent Trounce House (built in 1883, one of the city’s oldest structures), serves as the organization’s artistic and historical hub. Their mission includes advancing musical training, supporting emerging artists, and preserving Gustin’s educational traditions while engaging the public through interdisciplinary events.
