IFC Home The Interfaith Committee on Chaplaincy in the Correctional Service of Canada aka IFC is a committee made up solely of volunteers from the religious bodies of Canada whose representatives are delegated by their respective constituent churches and other faith groups for the purpose of coordinating ensuring and supporting the ministry of their religious community through Chaplaincy Service. The IFC acts as an advisory board to the Correctional Service of Canada CSC regardingchaplaincy in federal correctional institutions across the nation a liaison between churches and other faith groups and the CSC an advisory board to CSC and the service providercontractor regarding the quality of chaplaincy services provided in said institutions and as a partner in carrying out the terms of the Memorandum of Understanding.
