Calgary Cinematheque up next Surrealist Experimental Hallucinatory Short Films of the 1920s w Live Score April 10 2025 Girls Just Wanna Have Fun May 8 29 2025 Who Are We. We are a nonprofit film society dedicated to presenting significant challenging and essential works of cinema art in Calgary. Our season runs year round with screenings happening biweekly in curated programs which situate each film in a thematic and historical context. We do this because we believe cinema is an essential form of artistic social and political expression.
