Gifted Children's Association of British Columbia – Connecting to Support the Gifted Welcome. The Gifted Childrens Association of British Columbia GCABC is a nonprofit organization governed by a volunteer board that supports and advocates for gifted children and their families in BC. GCABC works to advance the educational opportunities for gifted students in the province and to assist families as they navigate the educational landscape in BC. It provides programs events information research and advice related to giftedness schools both public and independent and school districts Giftedness is a special need yet knowledge and understanding of what giftedness is how diversely it can express itself and how it needs to be supported is scarce and hard to find.
