The SingYourJoy Young Adult Chorus Society is a Canadian nonprofit organization that operates a community choir based in Greater Victoria, British Columbia. Founded to create an inclusive environment for young adults aged 16 to 29, SingYourJoy fosters musical growth, community engagement, and personal development through choral singing.

Mission and Philosophy

SingYourJoy is committed to the belief that everyone can sing and aims to remove barriers to participation. It operates as a non-auditioned choir, inviting young adults from diverse backgrounds to experience the joy of singing, skill development, and community building. Through its programming, the organization emphasizes accessibility, inclusivity, and social connection among its members.

Programs and Activities

The organization encompasses a family of choirs, including children’s and youth ensembles, with the young adult chorus as one of its central groups. The choir not only serves as a musical outlet but also as a social hub where friendships form and a sense of belonging is nurtured.

For example, the December 2024 concert titled "Closer Together" highlighted collaboration with the SingYourJoy Children’s Choruses, celebrating community through shared music-making.
