Operations

• Foster Home Network: Paws and Claws utilizes a system of foster homes to provide temporary care for animals until they are adopted. Volunteers open their homes to care for these animals.
• Spay/Neuter Program: The organization has implemented a spay/neuter campaign, especially significant on First Nations reserves where the animal population can grow exponentially due to lack of spaying and neutering. Since starting this program, they have spayed approximately three hundred dogs and cats.
• Transportation Services for Spay/Neuter: The foundation provides two-way transportation for dogs and cats from First Nations communities to be spayed/neutered when resources permit.

Programs

• Feral Cat Program: Paws and Claws also offers a program aimed at managing feral cat populations, reflecting their commitment to comprehensive animal care.
