Seniors Resource Centre (Salmon Arm) Society

The Seniors Resource Centre (Salmon Arm) Society is a Canadian nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting seniors and their families in the Salmon Arm and Shuswap area of British Columbia. • A Community Volunteer Income Tax program for seniors with uncomplicated tax returns and income below specified thresholds.
• Day Away programs operating Thursdays and Fridays.
• Monday Morning Market and foot care services on select weekdays.
• Medical driver services for out-of-town medical appointments.
• Access to nutritious meal programs.

The organization also manages rental facilities to benefit other charities serving elderly and disabled community members.

Membership and Governance

Membership in the Seniors Resource Centre is available for an annual fee, contributing to the sustainability of its programs and services. Members have the right to vote in the Society’s Annual General Meeting, held between October and December each year.

Governance is overseen by a volunteer Board of Directors who meet monthly to guide the Centre's operations and strategic direction.
