Emmanuel Bible College

History

Established in 1940 as a Bible school in Stouffville, Ontario, by Ward M. Shantz, the college initially relocated to Gormley and then to downtown Kitchener in 1943. It moved to its current location in 1964[5]. In 1982, Emmanuel Bible College received accreditation from the Association for Biblical Higher Education, allowing it to grant degrees following a provincial legislative change[5]. However, this accreditation expired in February 2023 and has not been renewed[5].
