BC Newcomer Camp BC Newcomers Supporting refugee children youth and families. British Columbia Newcomers is a Canadian registered charity that operates free programming for recently arrived refugee children and youth. By teaching English language skills and a variety of sports and playground games our immersive and engaging learning environment equips newly arrived refugee children with the tools and confidence needed to succeed in their new home. Our impact in numbers 1672 hours of programming hosted 539 children of refugee backgrounds served team of 33 staff and volunteers in 2023 Who We Are Watch our short video introduction to learn more about what we do.
