Mont O'Brien Association Mont OBrien Association 2024 membership form is located at the bottom of this page Les formulaires dadhesion 2024 se trouvent au bas de cette page The Mont OBrien Association was established in the year 2000 with the purpose of protecting flora and fauna on the Mont OBrien public territory. In 2003 members built a rightofway access road to Mont OBrien as well as the Mary Haydon Hiking Trail to lookouts on the Mont. Members decided to ask the Quebec government to establish the territory as a biodiversity reserve and in 2008 the Projected Biodiversity Reserve was officially established. In 2022 the Reserve was enlarged by a Decree from the Quebec Environment Minister see image A Decree.
