CODE’s very own Program Manager, Malvern, is testing out a brand new, “hot off the press” Grade 3 reading anthology with his own kids here in Ottawa. This is one of 12 new anthologies of culturally relevant poems, stories and non-fiction pieces that will soon land in the hands of eager students in Liberia and Sierra Leone. More than 85,000 copies will be distributed to 108 primary schools as well as 10 teachers’ colleges as part of the Canada’s International Development – Global Affairs Canada-funded Teaching and Learning in Fragile Contexts (TLFC) program.
