IMMIGRANT WOMEN SERVICES OTTAWA
I considered joining IWSO due to the mandate of the organization. Through my research and my doctoral studies, I became aware of Immigrant Women's Services of Ottawa. Given, that my research looks at the experiences of acculturating to Canada and the time that this takes, the organization's activities, interest, as well as, raison d'etre speak very closely to the work I'm interested in pursuing.
