The college previously collaborated with private institutions such as Alpha College of Business & Technology in Toronto and Canadian College in Vancouver but discontinued new admissions to partner programs in May 2024[3].

Governance and Affiliations
The college is led by President Glenn Vollebregt and governed by a board chaired by Julie Caffin[3]. It holds memberships in the Canadian Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA) and the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC), among other academic alliances[3].

Notable features include a student-to-administrative-staff ratio supported by 829 employees and athletic teams branded as the Surge, competing under red and black colors[3]. Historical milestones include the Kingston campusβs inaugural 1969 classes in temporary structures later named the Leeds Building[2].
Note: This institution is distinct from the unrelated St Lawrence College in Ramsgate, UK, founded in 1879[5].
