Hospice Georgina

Mission and Services

Hospice Georgina is dedicated to enhancing the comfort, dignity, and quality of life of individuals with life-limiting conditions. The organization provides non-medical support, including emotional, physical, spiritual, and bereavement care to patients and their families. Services are available free of charge and are not contingent upon possession of an Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP) card. The client base includes children, adults, and older individuals facing life-threatening or life-limiting illnesses, along with their caregivers and families.

Programs

The organization offers a variety of programs and services to support the well-being of its clients:

• Reiki and Reflexology: These energy healing and reflexology services are available by appointment.
• Sunday Serenity Social: A gathering for social interaction, games, and refreshments.
• Wings Virtual World Tour: An immersive Virtual Reality experience offering cultural adventures without leaving the area.

These programs are funded by the United Way of Greater Toronto and are open to hospice clients and volunteers at no cost.
