Nous sommes profondément préoccupé·es par les coupes budgétaires de 80 % qui menacent le ministère des Femmes et de l’Égalité des genres . Ces coupes affaibliraient gravement les organisations féministes nationales et locales, les refuges, les centres pour victimes d’agression sexuelle et les services aux victimes — vidant ainsi de sa substance l'ensemble du département chargé des droits des femmes et de l'égalité des genres dans notre pays. L’ANFD a signé une lettre commune demandant l'annulation de ces coupes budgétaires.

We are alarmed that the Department for Women and Gender Equality (WAGE) is facing budget cuts of 80%. The proposed cuts will severely undermine national and local feminist organizations, shelters, sexual assault services, and victim services — effectively gutting the entire department responsible for women’s rights and gender equality in our country. NAWL signed onto a joint letter with other feminist organizations calling for the cuts to be walked back.
