In particular our emergency department and inpatient units are currently experiencing higher than normal volume and demand. The hospital is now coordinating its efforts as part of a systemwide response with Yukon Government and Yukon Medical Association. Together we are taking specific actions to ensure Yukoners continue to have access to hospital care when they need it and to alleviate some of the current pressures in the hospital system.
