Yesterday, staff and clients at the Opportunity Centre came together to honour and reflect on the experiences of Indigenous peoples affected by residential schools. The day began with a meaningful land acknowledgment delivered by a Mike, an Ojibway man from the Saugeen Clan, setting a respectful tone for the day’s events. This was followed by a learning session that explored the history and significance of Orange Shirt Day.
