COTA Health is an accredited, not-for-profit, community-based organization that focuses on supporting adults with mental health and cognitive challenges. Established over 50 years ago, it operates primarily in the Greater Toronto Area.
Mission and Vision
COTA Health's mission is to support individuals with mental health and cognitive challenges to live well within their communities. The organization aims to achieve this by providing person-centered supports that foster personal strengths and facilitate meaningful change as defined by the individuals themselves. COTA Health envisions a supportive and inclusive society where everyone has equal opportunities to live, thrive, and enjoy community benefits.
Services
COTA Health offers a comprehensive array of services tailored for adults living with serious mental illnesses, geriatric mental health conditions, acquired brain injuries, developmental disabilities, and dual diagnoses. These services include:
- Case Management
- Supportive Housing
- Day Programs
- Court and Justice-related Services
- Assertive Housing First Teams (AHFT)
- Services for individuals experiencing homelessness
