WOMEN'S CENTRE OF YORK REGION Womens Centre of York Region WCYR is a communitybased not for profit organization that started in 1977 to support women and their families to break barriers overcome challenges of trauma and abuse and build brighter futures. Through group education workshops counselling services peer support and case management we support women and their families with employment mental health housing and the necessities of life. VISION Women thriving socially emotionally and economically. MISSION Using a strengthsbased traumainformed feminist approach we provide opportunities support and resources to all persons who identify as women on their journey of self discovery and empowerment.
