ASK Wellness Society
The ASK Wellness Society is a Canadian nonprofit organization dedicated to providing support services for individuals facing homelessness, mental health issues, substance misuse, and other related challenges. Originally founded in 1992 as the AIDS Society of Kamloops, the organization changed its name to ASK Wellness Society in 2016 to reflect its expanded scope of services aimed at supporting the broader community.
History
The organization began in a basement, where HIV/AIDS activists worked to support those in need within their community. Over time, ASK Wellness Society recognized the need to prioritize housing as a foundation for addressing health and well-being. This led to the implementation of Housing First initiatives, which focus on securing safe and affordable housing before addressing other health concerns.

- Health Services: ASK Wellness offers health navigation, blood-borne infection management, and harm reduction programs, along with adult addiction and mental health support services.
