Institut du Nouveau Monde
L'Institut du Nouveau Monde (INM) est une organisation canadienne à but non lucratif, fondée en 2003 et basée au Québec, Canada. Cette organisation indépendante et non partisane se consacre à l'augmentation de la participation citoyenne dans la vie démocratique.
Mission
Le principal objectif de l'INM est de renforcer l'engagement des citoyens dans les processus démocratiques. Pour ce faire, l'INM s'appuie sur plusieurs champs d'expertise :

- Démocratie participative
- Acceptabilité sociale
- Gouvernance participative
- Entrepreneuriat social et innovation sociale
Activités
Publications
L'INM publie chaque année un ouvrage intitulé L'état du Québec, qui fournit une vue d'ensemble de la situation politique, économique, culturelle et sociale du Québec pour l'année en cours. Ces publications incluent des analyses et des recommandations sur divers sujets marquants, tels que l'éducation, la justice sociale, et les changements climatiques.
Événements et Forums
L'INM est reconnu pour l'organisation de consultations publiques et de débats structurés à travers le Québec. Ces événements visent à encourager le dialogue entre les citoyens et les institutions sur des enjeux cruciaux.
Soutien à l'Entrepreneuriat Social
L'INM développe également des programmes de soutien à l'entrepreneuriat social, visant à encourager l'innovation et l'engagement social.
Reconnaissance
L'INM est considéré comme une référence importante en matière d'éducation à la citoyenneté, particulièrement auprès des jeunes. Il travaille étroitement avec des institutions démocratiques et des organisations pour favoriser une participation constructive et informative des citoyens sur divers projets et politiques publiques.
