ASIAN COMMUNITY AIDS SERVICES

July 21st marks Zero HIV Stigma Day. This day aims to unite communities with the common goal of ending HIV stigma, which is the negative perception to those affected by or at risk of getting HIV. 🛑 While there are prevention and treatment measures to HIV and developments for a vaccine, stigma can lead to hesitation of getting tested and seeking prevention or treatment options, or fear of losing support networks after sharing a HIV diagnosis, exacerbating the HIV pandemic.
