Oakhill & District Fire Department Oakhill District Fire Department A fully volunteer fire department located in the community of Whynotts Settlement Nova Scotia Canada. Fully volunteer since 1974 We are one of the 4500 volunteer fire departments in Canada. Volunteers are there to help our community members through their worst day ever and help diminish what could turn into life threatening and potentially terrible situations. Thats why we volunteer to help out when its needed the most and to try to make the difference in someone elses life.
