Le Centre Victoria pour femmes est profondément déçu des verdicts rendus aux 5 anciens joueurs d’Équipe Canada junior, qui ont été déclarés non coupables de toutes les accusations d’agression sexuelle cette semaine. Ça nous déçoit, nous bouleverse, nous enrage sachant ce qu'une telle décision fait à la cause de la violence sexuelle, la violence genrée, la violence faite aux femmes - à quel point un tel verdict décourage les victimes, les survivantes, à quel point ça décourage celles qui travaillent dans le domaine. Malgré ces verdicts, nous tenons à souligner l'immense courage d'EM, et à rappeler que nous croyons les survivantes.
