Vancouver Island Persons Living with HIV/AIDS Society
The Vancouver Island Persons Living with HIV/AIDS Society (VPWAS) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting individuals living with HIV/AIDS on Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Founded on a grassroots philosophy of "By PHAs for PHAs" (People Living with HIV/AIDS for People Living with HIV/AIDS), VPWAS ensures that its governance and services are driven by those most directly affected.
