History and Establishment
The Halifax Bahá'í Community was established in 1942 during World War II. Over the years, it has grown and contributed to the development of the Halifax region. Following municipal amalgamation in 1999, the six distinct Bahá'í communities within the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM) merged into a single entity. Today, Bahá'ís are present throughout the region, actively engaged in their neighborhoods through various charitable and service activities.

The Local Spiritual Assembly of the Bahá'ís of Halifax offers a range of community programs aimed at fostering spiritual growth and service. These include:
